3-in-1: discover the sustainable 'upcycling' concept
The Yumi Yay mobile is a 3-in-1 mobile. Due to the different functions, the mobile has a longer lifespan and is therefore more sustainable than many other mobiles. Choose from the following three functions:
- Mobile
- Wooden toys
- Clutching puzzle
You can take the wooden figures and the wooden rattle on the mobile and give them to your baby to play with. If your baby is a little older, you can try putting the wooden animals in the clutching puzzle together with your baby. Feel free to take the wooden figures off the mobile to play and attach them back to the mobile afterwards. This "upcycling" concept ensures that children are interested in the toy longer and the toy can last longer. Use the mobile afterwards for a second child or nephew, for example.
Encourage your child's development
Look, feel and play with Yumi Yay's new 3-in-1 mobile. When designing the mobile, we started from the developmental stages of a newborn baby. The mobile is therefore completely child-oriented and stimulating as your child grows.
LOOK
A young baby learns quickly and interests evolve with great strides. In the very beginning, your newborn baby learns mainly by looking around and listening.
During the first two months, your baby seeks eye contact and follows objects with his eyes. Your baby discovers figures and movement. A mobile also helps with falling asleep. Your baby focuses on one particular point and can fall asleep more easily.
During the first weeks, babies only see contrasts. Therefore, for the Yumi Yay mobile, we also came up with additions to stimulate your newborn little one's vision with contrasts. You can add the contrast elements to the mobile. So Otti the elephant gets ears, Finn the bird wings, Tika the monkey a tail and Billy the bear a fur.
FEEL
From 2 months, your baby starts grabbing things. Holding a toy and shaking it is suddenly very interesting. Remove the wooden animals from the mobile and you have fun toys for your baby. Let your baby rattle with the babyrattle. From 4 months onwards, your baby will gradually discover the toys with his mouth and pass toys from one hand to the other. The mobile is made to be completely safe for baby's hands and mouth!
PLAY
Your baby will learn while playing with the wooden animals and the rattle. Later you can make the mobile more challenging for your growing baby. Try putting the wooden animals into the puzzle together.
How does the Yumi Yay mobile for babies work?
The 3-in-1 mobile consists of 3 parts:
- Wooden mobile
- Five wooden figures: four Yumi Yay animals and one rattle
- Clutching puzzle
- Extra: Contrasting elements for the baby mobile
Do you want to use the mobile? Click the five wooden figures to the strings of the mobile. You can also add the contrasting elements. These contrasting elements stimulate your newborn baby's vision. During the first months, both contrasts and bright colors are very interesting for your baby. Add the contrast elements to the four wooden animals and hang it above the rattle. Hang the mobile with the cord on a hook or sky, for example. Choose the desired height.
Want to let your baby play with the wooden animals and rattle? Remove them from the mobile to play with them independently.
Want to try the puzzle together with your baby? Remove the four wooden animals from the baby mobile and find their place in the clutching puzzle.
Safe and durable for all babies
Safety first! The wooden figurines of the mobile are completely saliva-resistant and thus not only safe for baby hands, but also baby mouths. In addition, the mobile and its parts are also approved with the CE and EN71 certifications for toys. The wood used was given an FSC mark*.
